This large garden horizontal sundial is situated in the churchyard of All Saint's Church, Wellington.

The present church is probably the fourth on the site, though the others were positioned to the west of the current building which was begun in 1789 and completed the following year. The architect was George Steuart, who also designed St. Chad's in Shrewsbury and Attingham Hall.

This dial was designed to commemorate the millenium as the photo below shows. Unfortunately, the box hedges have grown too large and make the hour lines almost invisible.
