Shropshire Sundials

Around the towns, villages and countryside of Shropshire, there are a surprising number of sundials, some old, some modern, some accurate and some eccentric. To discover where they are, read their history and see our photos, click on the sundial icons in the map.

Until now, there are 20 or so dials in the website, mostly in East Shropshire but hopefully it will eventually cover the whole of the county.

If you like to add to this webpage, E-mail to the Webmaster with a photo of the sundial, the name and latitude/longitude (or OS grid reference) and any details of the dial and we will try to add to the website.
